A Neighborly Get-Together
It was a feast for the senses! With Pepes Ikan (grilled marinated fish wrapped in banana leaf), Ayam Penyet (smashed crispy fried chicken), Gado-Gado (vegetable salad with peanut sauce) and Rendang (beef cooked with coconut milk and spices), just to name a few... SFBAMS and MPBA chose the perfect spot to host their joint lunch event.
More than 40 attended the MPBA-SFBAMS lunch get-together on Saturday, October 3rd at Bay Leaf Restaurant, Sunnyvale. There were Singaporeans, Indonesians, Malaysians, and just about anyone else who wanted to join in the neighborly get-together. Attendees networked and got to know each other, and everyone enjoyed the mouth-watering event!
SFBAMS is a social Singaporean/Malaysian/Indonesian organization based
in San Francisco. http://www.sfbams.biopharmweb.com/
